Sharon Allison received her degree in history and government from The University of Texas at Austin in 1963.[1]

United Nations

Allison served as delegate to the 1994 UN International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo and the 1995 UN Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing.[2]


Allison has served as President of the board of International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region. She also served as member of the Governing Council of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

Planned Parenthood

From 2000 - 2001, Sharon W. Allison, then based in Waco, TX served as an honorary member of the Board of Directors for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion business in the U.S.A.[3] Allison has also served as chair of the board of directors for Planned Parenthood.

Guttmacher Institute

As of March 2012, Sharon W. Allison served on the board of directors for the Guttmacher Institute.[4] Allison has also served as director of the Guttmacher Institute.

League of Women Voters

Allison has served on the board of the League of Women Voters.
