Vedprakash Singh

Dr. Ved Prakash Singh is a graduate of University of Bombay and completed his medical degree at King Edward Memorial Hospital in India in 1988. He was part of the pioneering team credited with the first IVF baby in India. VP worked at National Women’s Hospital, Auckland before moving to Waikato in 1997.He completed his Fellowship of Royal Australia New Zealand College of O&G in 2000 and became a consultant at Waikato Hospital and Fertility Associates Hamilton in 2001. He commenced his private practice at Anglesea Women’s Specialists in 2004.[1]

Certifying Consultant

As at 2000, Vedprakash Singh was a Certifying Consultant in Hamilton. Certifying consultants have the job of approving or disapproving a mother being permitted to have her pre-born child killed by abortion.[2]

Endometriosis NZ

As at Aug. 20, 2014, Vedprakash Singh was a member of the Endometriosis Special Interest Group which serves as an advisory board to Endometriosis New Zealand.[3]
